CHAPTER 1
King David was the second king in the ancient United Kingdom of Israel who helped establish the eternal throne of God. A former shepherd, David was renowned for his passion for God, his touching psalms and musical abilities, his inspiring courage and expertise in warfare, his good looks and illicit relationship with Bathsheba, and his ancestral connections to Jesus of Nazareth. King David also know as a person in God's heart. David was the eighth son (and youngest) of Jesse, from the tribe of Judah. Like King Saul and King Solomon, David reigned for 40 years in one of the highest and most prosperous periods in Israel’s history - called by many, “The Golden Age” of Israel. David is one of the most famus character in the bible and his strength, power, authority,and all his success was just the promises of GOD.
CHAPTER 2
Twice a day for 40 days, morning and evening, Goliath, the champion of the Philistines, comes out between the lines and challenges the Israelites to send out a champion of their own to decide the outcome in single combat, but Saul is afraid. David, bringing food for his elder brothers on the battlefield, hears that Goliath has defied the armies of God and of the reward from Saul to the one that defeats him, and accepts the challenge. Saul reluctantly agrees and offers his armor, which David declines, taking only his staff, sling and five stones from a brook and the anointing of God. One of his prayers is the heart clensed by God. He's not a perfect one's because he committed a lot of sins specially the sin of lust but because of he always confess to God with his heart God is faithful for everything he always forgive him.
CHAPTER 3
Joshua in the Bible began life in Egypt as a slave, under cruel Egyptian taskmasters, but he rose to be the leader of Israel through faithful obedience to God. Moses gave Hosea son of Nun his new name: Joshua (Yeshua in Hebrew), which means "the Lord is Salvation." This name selection was the first indicator that Joshua was a "type," or picture, of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. When Moses sent 12 spies to scout the land of Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb, son of Jephunneh, believed the Israelites could conquer the land with God's help. Angry, God sent the Jews to wander in the wilderness for 40 years until that unfaithful generation died. Of those spies, only Joshua and Caleb survived. Before the Jews entered Canaan, Moses died and Joshua became his successor. Spies were sent into Jericho. Rahab, a prostitute, sheltered them and then helped them escape.
CHAPTER 4
They swore to protect Rahab and her family when their army invaded. To enter the land, the Jews had to cross the flooded Jordan River. When the priests and Levites carried the Ark of the Covenant into the river, the water stopped flowing. This miracle mirrored the one God had performed at the Red Sea. Joshua followed God's strange instructions for the battle of Jericho. For six days the army marched around the city. On the seventh day, they marched seven times, shouted, and the walls fell down flat. The Israelites swarmed in, killing every living thing except Rahab and her family. Because Joshua was obedient, God performed another miracle at the battle of Gibeon. He made the sun stand still in the sky for an entire day so the Israelites could wipe out their enemies completely. Under Joshua's godly leadership, the Israelites conquered the land of Canaan. Joshua assigned a portion to each of the 12 tribes. Joshua died at the age of 110 and was buried at Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim.
WEEK 3
CHAPTER 1
“Book”
Nandito ako sa loob ng kwarto ko, Nag-iisip kung mag aaral ulit ako sa University malapit samin o lilipat ng ibang paaralan.
Tinitingnan ko lang ang sarili ko sa salamin habang ang bestfriend ko naman ay naka higa lang at busy sa pag cecellphone.
"Di nalang kaya ako mag-aaral?" Wala sa sarili kong sambit.napatayo ang bestfriend kong kanina ay nakahiga lang at binatukan ako.
"Aray!"Galit kong sambit sa kaniya. Nagsalita naman siya kaya tinikom ko nalang ang bibig ko.
"Alam mo Kit, wag ka nang matakot, na sa college life na tayo! wala sa high school kaya wala ka nang dapat katakutan at balita ko engineering course daw ang kinuha ng kumag na yon" Aniya at niyakap ako patalikod.
"Wag kang mag-alala kit dahil nandito lang ako susupporta sayo"Sabi niya at mas niyakap pa ako kaya gumanti din ako ng yakap gamit ang mga kamay ko at pumikit na may nakaguhit na ngiti sa mga labi. Sa kalagitnaan ng yakapan namin dalawa ay may tumawag samin sa ibaba dahilan para kumalas ang bestfriend ko sa pagkayakap.
"Kit,Claire, Bat an tagal niyo diyan! "oo na, kung di lang talaga kita kaibigan, tayo na!"Sabi ni kong. Nagkatinginan kami ni Claire at tsaka ngumiti bago umalis ng bahay.
Sumakay kami sa lamborghini ni P'kong at nagmadaling umalis ng bahay.
CHAPTER 2
Pagdating namin sa university ay agaw pansin kami dahil sa kotse namin. Para akong isang importanting tao dahil sa mga titig at ngiti ng mga taong nalalagpasan namin kaya nag salita si p'kong.
"Masanay na kayo ganyan talaga ang college life maraming magpapasikat pero im am not saying na isa ako o kayo sa mga ganung tao ah pero this univ kasi is the largest university in Asia at rank #5 sa pinaka magandang univ at maraming matatalino sa buong mundo"Nakangisi niyang sabi. Namangha ako sa sinabi ni P'kong kaya di ko maiwasang mag tanong.
"P'kong sino po ba ang may ari ng univ na ito?"Curios kong tanong. Usap usapan kasi samin noon ang mga rumors tungkol sa may-ari ng univ.
"Di ko alam, nong marami kasing sikreto ang univ kaya kung gusto mo mag aral ka ng mabuti para mapabilang ka sa section A-High class, college students lang ang pwede makapasok sa A-high class at sadyang popular kaya babalaan kita"Babala niya sakin. nakaramdam ako ng kaba at tiningnan ko si Lorie at binigyan siya ng nakakakabang tingin.
"pero engineers lang ang pwede dun kaya wag ka nang kabahan ahahaha"Tawang sabi ni p'kong . sinimangutan ko siya at tumalikod.
"Ito naman oh, wag ka nang mag tampo"Buhakhak niyang sabi at ginulo ang buhok ko gamit ang kaliwa niyang mga kamay.
Nang makarating kami sa parking lot ay pinark kaagad ni p'kong ang car. Sa mga nag tatanong kung sino si P'kong well siya yung 1st cousin ko sa side ni mama kaya close kami at dahil bestfriend kami ni Claire kaya friends na rin sila.
"Sige na punta kayo sa convention hall dun kasi mag titipon-tipon ang buong freshmens good luck ah!"Sabi niya at tinapik niya ako. Tiningnan ko si Claire at nakita ko siyang ngiti ng ngiti kaya kinuha ko ang phone niya at tumakbo papuntang convention hall.
CHAPTER 3
"Hoy ibalik mo yan!"Nababanas niyang sabi at bumaba din siya ng kotse para habulin ako. Mabilis akong tumakbo kaya mahihrapan siyang habulin ako.
Umabot ako sa hallway sa kakatakbo. Lumingon ako sa likod ko kung saan ay nakasunod sakin si Claire pero hindi kaya huminto ako para antayin siya. Habang nag aantay ako ay may sumisigaw na mga malanding mga kababae dahilan upang mapa tingin ako sa Harap ko.
I see a tall guy, He is like dancing in the hallway with his fire walk or lets just say a killer walk. I look into his attractive blue eyes that made me pause, having the finest feeling in the entire world. When his getting nearer, The sorroundings begin to fade and only his beautiful attractive face appeared in that particular area and the rest is fading. He has this gorgeous perfect sculped nose which is the most attractive on his face and it shines more when he smile. He has this thick perfect brows that I never seen in my whole life.
Habang nakatitig ako sa kaniya ay di ko namalayang malapit na siya sakin kaya nung matauhan ako ay binangga niya ako dahilan ng pagkatumba ko.
Bumangga ang pwet ko sa floor at at malakas ang pagbagsak ng buong katawan ko at nasugatan ang gilid ng aking elbows kaya tiningnan ko siya pero hindi niya ako tinulungan but instead he just pass and did not even try to help me.
CHAPTER 4
haysss kakatapos ko lang maligo tinatamad na agad ako pumasok inaantok pako diko alam kung. gusto ko pang magaaral eh nakakatamad language and naman yun dahil sa proctors ko kinuha ko na ang mga gamit ko dahil baka malate pako dahil sa pagkausap ko sa sarili ko sumakay na ko ng kotse ko wala kasi ung pinsan ko ngayon saka ung Best friend ko kaya ko kinakausap sarili kofirst subject ko nakakaantok kase walang kwenta magturo ung proctor namin pupunta nalang ako sa cafeteria namin kakain nalang ako di buti nalang konti lang tao dito kaya bumili lang ako ng light snaks di naman kasi ko masyadpng gutom saka pumwesto sa may dulo para wala masyadong nakatitig sakin then habang nagmumunimuni ako bigla nalang may tumabi sakin.
